Role Overview
Global Rescue is currently seeking Registered Nurses and/or Medics looking for a career change, to support the day-to-day operations of a busy operations center. Specialists play a critical role in staffing emergency access telephone lines to respond to client health events and other emergencies, as well as performing a combination of logistics and research work. The logistics and research work are in support of preparing for any future operations to come into the office. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a critical care setting (Emergency Room, ICU, etc.), be a great team player, excellent multi-tasker and enjoy helping find the right solutions for our members.

COMPENSATION: $60,000 - $65,000 depending on experience

Responsibilities
- Staff emergency access telephone lines and portals in our operations centers to respond to patient health incidents and other emergencies
- Work under the supervision of a Senior Specialist to manage and coordinate logistics for medical evacuations from remote locations and patient transfers to/from hospitals (includes air, ground, sea, etc.)
- Follow, maintain and improve protocol, process and quality standards for patient response and transport
- Execute assigned non-operational office tasks with diligence and precision
- Active RN, EMT-I/A license or above
- College degree preferable
- Previous call center or dispatch center experience a plus
- Must have excellent spoken and written English, Spanish a plus. IELTS score: 8 and above.
- Strong computer skills required
