Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Instructor for Billing and Coding to teach and train students in medical billing and coding procedures, guidelines, and regulations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in medical billing and coding, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to provide high-quality instruction to students.
Responsibilities:
- Teach and train students in medical billing and coding procedures, guidelines, and regulations
- Develop and implement lesson plans, course materials, and assessments
- Provide individualized instruction and support to students
- Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and grades
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and updates in medical billing and coding
- Participate in curriculum development and revision
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to achieve program goals
Requirements:
- Diploma or equivalent in a related field
- 2 years of full-time practical experience in Medical Billing & Coding
- Strong knowledge of medical billing and coding procedures, guidelines, and regulations
- Excellent teaching and communication skills
- Ability to provide high-quality instruction to students
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
