Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee our production operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing processes and a strong ability to lead a team effectively.

Duties:

· Coordinate and supervise the daily activities of manufacturing personnel

· Ensure production goals are met while maintaining quality standards

· Train and mentor staff on proper manufacturing procedures

· Monitor inventory levels and order materials as needed

· Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations

· Troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions

· Develop, design, and build manufacturing processes, fixtures and procedures

· conduct recruiting and hiring activities to build and maintain a manufacturing team

· Measure and analyze manufacturing performance to implement improvements

· Teach and implement Lean Manufacturing systems, processes, and tools to the manufacturing team

Skills:

· Leadership and Team development

· Written and verbal communication

· Composite manufacturing

· Welding and Fabrication

· Manufacturing equipment management (OEE,TPM, Maintenance etc.)

· Quality management system (QMS)

· Lean Manufacturing

· Purchasing and Inventory management

· Manufacturing data gathering and analysis

· Lead and assist in ensuring Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost measurement are met with adherence to the core values of Global Secure Shipping

· Proficiency in operating forklifts

· Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting machinery

· Experience with hand tools and power tools

· Ability to fabricate, assemble, and work in a manufacturing environment

WORK ENVIROMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted or with proper equipment
• Wear required safety personal protective equipment
• Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of position.
• Ability to spend 90% of time on the floor working in manufacturing area.

Job Type: Full-time/ Exempt

Salary: $55,000.00 - $74,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience level:

• Minimum of 3-year experience in a leadership position
