To support our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Senior Project Director/Operations Director to work alongside the company owner and ensure smooth and efficient project execution.
Position Summary
The Senior Project Director/Operations Director will play a pivotal role in streamlining day-to-day operations, managing projects from inquiry to completion, and alleviating the owner’s workload. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, remodeling, or project management and will possess excellent organizational and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- INSPECTION: Conduct site visits to assess client needs, scope of work, and existing conditions.
- Receive and manage inquiries; document and organize client information.
- Schedule visits with clients and stakeholders promptly.
- Identify potential issues and risks during the inspection phase.
- Develop detailed scope of work documents, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client needs.
Estimating & Proposal Preparation
- Conduct shell assessments to evaluate existing structures.
- Estimate costs for labor, materials, and subcontractor work.
- Prepare detailed proposals and review them with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the owner to finalize estimates and timelines.
Scheduling & Coordination
- Manage timelines, order materials, and confirm lead times to avoid project delays.
- Oversee work schedules for labor and subcontractors to ensure efficient workflows.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors, confirming material orders and site readiness.
Operational Oversight
- Act as the point of contact for clients, adjusters, and internal teams.
- Manage labor and subcontractor assignments, ensuring quality control.
- Track and file project evidence, such as photos, reports, and correspondence.
- Implement systems for efficient organization of project documents and workflows.
Execution & Monitoring
- Schedule work and oversee site progress.
- Perform regular site visits to monitor quality, timelines, and safety compliance.
- Provide proactive solutions for any delays or issues.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Experience: 8 years of project management or operations leadership experience in construction, remodeling, or a related field.
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously, from inception to completion.
- Strong skills in cost estimation, budgeting, and proposal preparation.
- Proficient in project management tools and scheduling software (e.g., Jobber, MS Project, BuilderTrend, Procore, Project Libra).
- Leadership: Experience in managing subcontractors, vendors, and labor crews.
- Ability to delegate tasks effectively and hold teams accountable for results.
- Skills:
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to anticipate and resolve challenges.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience in xactimate a plus.
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in construction management, business, or related field is preferred but not required. Relevant experience will be considered.
- Other Requirements:
- Ability to travel locally to project sites.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Familiarity with building codes, permits, and safety regulations.
