Pharmacist

Global Service Resources, Inc., a leading Healthcare staffing company has an opening for a Pharmacist at Olive View-UCLA Medical Center in Sylmar, CA.  This open for Outpatient setting.

Schedule :  M-F 7 : 30am - 9pm and weekend / holidays 8 : 30am - 5pm (8 hour shift within these hours).

Pay Rate :  $68-$73 / hr

JOB DESCRIPTION

Accurately dispense prescription medications as prescribed by physicians.

Review prescriptions for errors and ensure proper dosage, form, and instructions

Educate patients on potential side effects, interactions, and precautions associated with their medications.

Maintain proper inventory of medications, ensuring that medications are stored and handled according to regulations.

Ensure timely ordering of medications and track expiration dates to prevent waste.

Handle controlled substances in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

Ensure that all activities comply with federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations.

Maintain accurate records of medication dispensation, controlled substances, and other regulatory documentation.

Stay current with changes in pharmacy laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in pharmaceutical research, drugs, and therapies.

REQUIREMENTS

Must have 1 years of experience, preferably outpatient experience

Must have Pharmacist License / RPh

BLS from AHA.
