Title: Java Software Developer
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Kansas City, MO
MUST HAVE APPROVAL TESTING EXP.
Job Description / Responsibilities:
- Attend Scrum meeting(s)
- Resolved a production issue that turned out to be a data issue
- Figuring out how to debug a pipeline issue
- Resolved several Fortify/security issues, improving the quality
- Read through many lines of code; was able to reuse code to solve a new feature
- Assist in estimating work for feature within the legacy system but keeping a mindful eye on what that feature could be in the future
High Level Technical Skills/Experience Required:
- Must have Java
- Must have Spring
- Must have Struts experience
- Must have experience in JPA frameworks, Hibernate SpringData, MyBatis
- Must have experience in JPQL
- Must have experience in HTML, JSON, XML
- Must have experience with Rest services
- Must have experience with Soap
- Experience with Git or GitLab
- Prefer experience with Maven
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent combination of industry-related professional experience and education
