A Dynamics 365 data analyst is responsible for extracting analyzing and interpreting data within the Dynamics 365 platform using this information to generate actionable insights and reports that inform business decisions often focusing on areas like sales performance customer behavior and marketing campaign effectiveness while utilizing tools like Power BI and SQL to manipulate and visualize the data effectively; key duties include data collection data cleaning statistical analysis report creation and collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs and identify key metrics to track.

Key Responsibilities :

Data Extraction and Cleaning :

Accessing data from various Dynamics 365 modules (Sales Marketing Customer Service)

Identifying and addressing data quality issues including duplicates and inconsistencies

Data transformation and manipulation to prepare it for analysis

Statistical Analysis :

Performing statistical analysis using appropriate techniques to identify trends and patterns within the data

Calculating key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to business objectives

Reporting and Visualization :

Developing comprehensive reports and dashboards using Power BI or other visualization tools

Creating interactive and userfriendly visualizations to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders

Business Insights and Recommendations :

Interpreting data analysis results to identify actionable insights and business opportunities

Communicating key findings and recommendations to relevant teams to inform decisionmaking

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management :

Working closely with business users to understand their data needs and requirements

Gathering feedback on reports and dashboards to ensure alignment with business objectives

Data Governance and Maintenance :

Ensuring data integrity and compliance with data governance policies

Monitoring data quality and implementing necessary data cleansing procedures

Technical Skills :

Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI : Creating and managing data visualizations within Power BI

SQL Querying Skills : Writing complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from Dynamics 365

Data Analysis Tools : Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques and tools like Excel R or Python

Dynamics 365 Platform Knowledge : Understanding the structure and functionalities of different Dynamics 365 modules
