Contract Driver

We are seeking an Independent Contractor Driver, that is looking to supplement their time, to join our team. As a Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and safe delivery and pick up of goods to our customers. This position is 'as needed' and offers flexibility of schedule. Our current customers are located both in state and out of state. Lodging expenses will be paid when a pick up requires an overnight stay in a hotel, as well as other expenses.

*Duties*

- Perform route driving to deliver and pick up goods to designated locations

- Operate box trucks and lift gates to load and unload cargo

- Utilize pallet jacks for efficient handling of shipments

- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries

- Safely drive various sized vehicles

- Handle heavy lifting tasks as needed

*Experience*

- Prior experience in commercial driving is preferred

- Must have valid drivers license that includes chauffers permit, at least

- Personal insurance is required

- Proficiency in operating box trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks

- Ability to load and unload cargo efficiently

- Strong customer service skills

- Capability to drive safely, follow traffic rules and utilize GPS to navigate to locations

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $250.00 - $300.00 per day

Shift:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
