1. Training Administrator

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full lifecycle of classroom scheduling, including reserving training spaces, resolving scheduling conflicts, and updating calendars.
- Coordinate instructor observation events, including scheduling spot checks, notifying observers, and tracking participation.
- Support the planning and execution of the Instructor Qualification Course (IQC), both in-residence and remotely.
- Coordinate professional development activities by securing venues, creating training schedules, and handling all communications.
- Track student and instructor qualification progress using PEX or similar systems; send reminders, generate certificates, and maintain training records.
- Create and maintain metrics reports on student throughput, instructor availability, and training facility utilization to inform leadership decisions.

- Deliver dynamic, engaging instruction in both classroom and mission simulator environments on a range of SATCOM topics.
- Lead up to 32 training classes per year, including:
- 6 Wideband/Protected QT classes (2–3 weeks per block)
- 12 longer-term Qualification Training classes (approx. 25 weeks in duration)
- 14 SATCOM Fundamentals (2-week sessions covering core SATCOM knowledge)
- Teach core topics such as satellite system fundamentals, RF theory, signal modulation, SATCOM system architecture, and wave propagation.
- Provide on-the-job training and guidance for military space operators and new instructors.
- Evaluate student performance through observation, quizzes, and practical application.
- Coordinate closely with unit leadership and simulator contractors to address system deficiencies or updates.
- Support mission rehearsal and certification events as needed.
- Provide real-time operational context during training to enhance mission relevance and readiness.

- Update curriculum based on evolving operational requirements, Mission Task Lists (MTL), and Ready Spacecrew Task Memoranda (RTM).
- Collaborate with instructors and SMEs to integrate operational feedback and ensure course relevance.
- Create detailed learning objectives that align with Delta 8’s mission goals and qualification standards.
- Support change management by documenting curriculum updates and tracking modifications using curriculum trackers and version control tools.
- Assist in preparing and delivering briefings to leadership on curriculum status and improvements.
- Coordinate with higher headquarters to meet training standard development milestones (e.g., RTRBs).
