Summary
We are seeking a creative and innovative Fashion Designer to help us on a swimsuit project. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fashion and strong pattern-making skills. This role involves conceptualizing and creating unique designs that align with our brand vision, while also considering functionality and marketability. The Fashion Designer will collaborate closely with the CEO to build patterns.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and handing off sketches to the factory, ensuring that all design elements and specifics of garment construction are clearly communicated and resolved.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are feasible for manufacturing.
- Assist in selecting fabrics, colors, and materials that align with design concepts while considering cost-effectiveness.
- Stay updated on fashion trends, consumer preferences, and competitor offerings to inform design decisions.
- Assist in product management by tracking timelines from initial concept through production.
Skills
- 1 year creating patterns.
- Knowledge of sewing machines and garment construction techniques.
- Strong graphic design skills for creating visual presentations of designs.
- Ability to illustrate concepts clearly for communication with team members.
