We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our client's team as a Driver/Counter Associate.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles: Safely and efficiently drive company vehicles for the delivery and pickup of equipment to various locations.
- Assist customers at the counter: Provide product information, process transactions, and address inquiries.
- Load and unload equipment: Load and unload equipment onto company vehicles, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
- Maintain vehicles and facilities: Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure safety and compliance with regulations, and maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and showroom areas.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license: Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent communication skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability: Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, up to 50 pounds.
- Knowledge and skills: Basic knowledge of lawn and landscape equipment is a plus, and flexibility to work half days on Saturdays during the busy season.
