HVAC Specialist

GSE is currently seeking an HVAC Specialist to work with the Cybersecurity Assurance team.

This position involves working closely with cybersecurity specialists and energy professionals to evaluate system efficiency and resilience, ensuring operational safety and security. The role supports U.S. Army installations and requires extended travel to CONUS locations.  

To be qualified, the candidate MUST be a US citizen and possess an active Secret Clearance with the ability to receive a Top Secret Clearance with SCI access. 

Responsibilities assigned to this position include: 

• Conduct assessments of HVAC systems for efficiency and performance. 

• Implement solutions to optimize HVAC systems for energy savings. 

• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. 

Qualifications: 

• B.S. Mechanical Engineering or HVAC apprenticeship 

• Section 608 Technician certification 

• NATE certifications a plus 

• 5 years of experience in HVAC system evaluation and optimization. 

• Familiarity with building science, mechanical systems, lighting, and controls equipment. 

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret building designs and construction plans, control drawings, service bulletins, technical procedure manuals, equipment specifications, and governmental regulations. 

• Ability to communicate effectively. 

• Ability to collaborate with a team.

Salary : $120,000 - $140,000
