Senior Content Analyst

GSE is currently seeking a motivated, self-driven Scientific Content Specialist to join our team supporting the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR) Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) Modernization of Chemical Hazards Emergency Medical Management (CHEMM). On this 18-month project, the Senior Content Analyst leads research, analysis, and validation of site content and assists the Technical Lead with the design and evaluation of effective end user engagements.

The candidate MUST be a US citizen.

Responsibilities assigned to this position include:

• Review and analyze existing CHEMM content
• Review and analyze end user content and UI/UX feedback
• Develop CHEMM content and UI/UX update recommendations
• Revise or develop content as appropriate
• Ensure content updates are timely, accurate, and incorporate stakeholder feedback
• Ensure content is 508 conformant
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure content and site updates are effectively deployed
• Oversee junior team members supporting relevant tasks

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree 8 years of experience in relevant field or Master’s Degree 6
• Experience in the creation and publishing of online technical information
• Experience with end user engagement
• Experience with 508 Conformance requirements
• Must have clear, professional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Must be able to work independently and in teams

Preferred Qualifications:

• CHEMM-specific technical writing experience
• User Interface / User Experience design experience
