Insurance Coverage Litigation Attorney – Manhattan, NY
We are seeking a skilled Insurance Coverage Litigation Attorney to join our team in Manhattan, NY. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in coverage litigation and/or insurance coverage matters, with a strong background in commercial litigation within federal courts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all aspects of insurance coverage litigation, including case strategy, pleadings, and motion practice.
- Conduct and manage discovery processes, including meet-and-confer discussions and electronic discovery.
- Prepare and take depositions of witnesses and experts.
- Draft and argue motions in federal courts.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop case strategies and legal arguments.
Qualifications:
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to practice in New York (additional admissions a plus).
- At least two years of experience in insurance coverage litigation and/or commercial litigation in federal courts.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.
- Willingness to work onsite in Manhattan.
