Position Summary :
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with experience in Securities Lending and expertise in SEC Rule 10c-1a to join a leading financial services organization in Midtown, NYC. This role involves working closely with stakeholders across trading, compliance, and technology to ensure seamless compliance with regulatory requirements and operational efficiency in securities lending processes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Regulatory Compliance and Oversight
- Interpret and implement SEC Rule 10c-1a requirements within securities lending operations.
- Collaborate with compliance teams to monitor regulatory developments and adjust processes accordingly.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting to meet all 10c-1a requirements.
- Business Analysis and Documentation
- Conduct in-depth analysis of existing securities lending processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
- Document business requirements, workflows, and use cases to align with regulatory and operational objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the primary point of contact for business and technology teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment of goals.
- Partner with trading desks, operations, and IT to design solutions that address business needs and regulatory mandates.
- Solution Implementation and Testing
- Support the development and implementation of tools and systems to enhance regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
- Develop and execute test cases to validate system changes and ensure alignment with business and regulatory requirements.
- Data and Reporting
- Oversee the generation and validation of 10c-1a-specific reports to ensure compliance and data accuracy.
- Analyze securities lending data to provide insights and recommendations for process improvements.
