Seeking a Litigation *** Insurance Defense*** Paralegal MEDMAL EXP
Location: FTL, FL Experience Required: 5 years with 5 years of Insurance Defense experience, preferably in Medical Malpractice, General Liability, Personal Injury, or Wrongful Death cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage client documents, including electronic data, and identify relevant materials.
- Conduct litigation and background checks; obtain authenticated records.
- Prepare, label, and redact documents for production.
- Assist with trial prep: exhibits, evidentiary matters, witness prep, subpoenas, and trial support.
- Conduct online research and utilize firm resources effectively.
- Summarize medical records, and bills, and create chronologies.
- Communicate with clients, carriers, and counsel in a team environment.
- Liaise with expert witnesses and manage qualifications, retention, and communications.
- Review vendor invoices and ensure timely submission for processing.
