Job Summary :
We are enthusiastic and dedicated Banquet Servers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service during various events, ensuring that all guests have a memorable experience. You will work closely with the catering and event planning teams to deliver high-quality food and beverage service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table arrangements, place settings, and décor.
Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner.
Communicate effectively with kitchen and event staff to ensure smooth service.
Respond promptly to guest inquiries and needs, ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the event.
Assist with the breakdown and cleanup of banquet areas after events, including the returning of equipment to storage and proper disposal of waste.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service and a positive team environment.
Carry out any additional duties as assigned by the Banquet Manager or Event Coordinator.
Qualifications :
Previous experience as a server, preferably in a banquet or catering setting.
Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
Ability to lift and maneuver heavy trays and equipment as needed.
