- Strategic Analysis: Drive business process improvements that enhance company performance.
- Project Management: Assist in delivering on the company's project portfolio aligned with strategic objectives.
- Business Planning: Collaborate with portfolio managers and SMEs on strategic planning during budgeting cycles.
- Project Requirements: Define and document project requirements, scope, and systems functions.
- Project Planning: Assist in developing and maintaining project and test plans.
- Documentation: Create process mapping, training, and system procedure documentation.
- Post-Implementation Support: Measure and ensure project benefits are realized.
- KPI Reporting: Report on critical project KPIs.
- Business Requirements: Facilitate requirement walkthrough meetings and participate in functional specification reviews.
- Project Management: Independently manage projects of light complexity.
- Bachelor's degree and 3 years of business analyst experience in insurance or financial services (or 10 years of experience with a high school diploma).
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to quantify impacts and synthesize data.
- Experience with business modeling or process mapping.
- Proven self-starter and effective individual contributor.
- Strong financial acumen and ability to complete Cost Benefit Analysis independently.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working within various delivery methodologies, with Agile experience required and Scaled Agile experience a plus.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
- Ability to understand, document, and communicate system and process impacts effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, work ethic, and strong personal integrity and accountability.
- Strong experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio is a plus.
- Entrepreneurial attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with external vendors and outsourced business models is a plus.
