Job Description
- Our client is looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required!
- This role is part of Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Facilities, and Security. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all facilities.
- As part of a hardworking team of diverse specialists, technicians, and engineers, you will perform general duties involved in the precision cleaning and inspection of aerospace hardware for various spaceflight systems.
- You will share the team's impact on all aspects of engine production.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Clean and passivate hardware using means such as solvent/chemical, mechanical, ultrasonic, and precision cleaning methods.
- Safely handle hardware utilizing overhead cranes, hoists, and associated lifting equipment.
- Use titration and other direct measurement methods to analyze and correct CPV Lab solvent/chemical systems.
- The Cleanroom Technician will inspect hardware using visual, UV light, borescope, microscopic particle count, and high-precision weighing methods.
- Package accepted hardware and supplies for storage or shipment.
- Perform shop-level maintenance and calibration of equipment such as pumps, tanks, filtration systems, scales, etc.
- The Cleanroom Technician will conduct general housekeeping of CPV Lab and Certified Clean Room area.
- Follow safety regulations and wear protective eyewear, steel-toe boots, and other applicable personal protective equipment.
