Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and non-routine laboratory testing procedures.
- Analyze specimens and report test results accurately.
- Adhere to quality control standards and document all activities.
- Follow CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety guidelines.
- Identify and resolve any issues that may affect test results.
- Participate in training and development programs.
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Chemistry, or Biology.
- 1 years of clinical laboratory experience (preferred for those with BS/BA in Chemistry or Biology).
- NYS Clinical Laboratory Scientist License required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of differentials and operation of specific analyzers (Beckman AU680, Centaur XP, Sysmex XN, Sysmex CS2500).
