Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative

As a Patient Services Representative II (PSR II), you'll play a vital role in ensuring accurate and efficient blood sample collection and processing. Your ability to build trust, explain procedures clearly, and demonstrate excellent phlebotomy skills will be essential in creating a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draw quality blood samples from patients of all ages, following established procedures and protocols.
• Prepare specimens for lab testing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Provide exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming and supportive environment for patients.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to confidentiality standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure smooth patient care.
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors, focusing on process excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
• Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• At least 2 years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment.
• Strong customer service skills in a retail or service environment.
• Proficiency in keyboard/data entry.
