Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative

• Accurate and efficient blood sample collection: Draw blood samples from patients of all ages, following established procedures and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Patient interaction: Build trust and rapport with patients, explaining procedures clearly and addressing any concerns.
• Specimen preparation: Prepare blood samples for laboratory testing, adhering to quality control standards.
• Administrative tasks: Maintain accurate records and documentation, contributing to a smooth workflow.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic training preferred)
• Phlebotomy certification (required in California, Nevada, and Washington)  
• Minimum of 6 months experience, with 1 year of phlebotomy experience preferred
• Strong customer service skills
• Proficiency in keyboard/data entry
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed
