Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional patient care: Draw blood samples accurately and efficiently, create a welcoming atmosphere, and explain procedures clearly.
- Demonstrate leadership and process excellence: Adhere to established practices and procedures, maintain a safe environment, and focus on quality and accuracy.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy: Handle patient information with sensitivity and ensure accurate recordkeeping.
- Work effectively in a team environment: Collaborate with colleagues and follow the direction of supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification is preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
- Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience (including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
- Customer service experience in a retail or service environment is preferred.
- Keyboard/data entry skills.
