As a PSR II, you'll play a vital role in our healthcare organization by providing exceptional patient care. You'll draw blood samples accurately and efficiently, ensuring a comfortable and safe experience for patients. Your excellent communication skills and dedication to patient satisfaction will be essential in building trust and confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draw blood samples from patients of all ages, following established procedures
- Prepare specimens for laboratory testing
- Maintain a safe and professional work environment
- Provide exceptional customer service and build positive relationships with patients
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Demonstrate leadership behaviors and a commitment to process excellence
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic training) preferred
- Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington)
- Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Flexibility and availability to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime
