What You'll Do:As a Patient Services Representative I, you'll be responsible for:
- Greeting and assisting patients in a professional and friendly manner.
- Drawing quality blood samples accurately and efficiently.
- Preparing specimens for lab testing following established procedures.
- Creating a positive and reassuring atmosphere for patients.
- Demonstrating leadership behaviors and a commitment to process excellence.
- Maintaining a safe and professional work environment.
- Performing duties with confidence and following established practices.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Promoting a positive image of our organization to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
- Ability to provide high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric.
- Flexibility and availability to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Medical training as a medical assistant or paramedic preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
- Minimum of 6 months of experience. One or more years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
- Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
- Proficiency in keyboard/data entry.
