Job Responsibilities:
- The Pressure & Component Technician will pressure test rocket engine components such as main valves, ancillary valves, housings, manifolds, and combustion chambers.
- Non-conformance root cause identification.
- Nitrogen and helium leak testing.
- Environmental testing, including vibration and thermal.
- Hydrostatic proof testing and water flow testing.
- Test tooling assembly.
- Maintain strict cleanliness requirements for fuel and oxidizer valves.
- Maintain test equipment inventory, such as calibrated items.
- Safely work with hazardous systems, chemicals, and high-pressure operations.
- Identify, develop, and implement manufacturing improvements to reduce cost, increase efficiency, and increase throughput.
- Support the development and improvement of electronic manufacturing work instructions.
- Identify non-conformances and engage in corrective actions.
- 0 to 8 years of pressure systems experience and component test experience.
- Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings.
- Extensive experience reading and understanding specifications and detailed work instructions.
- Proven experience and successful track record developing new processes.
- Strong written, personal, technical, and software skills (CAD, Scheduling, Issue Tracking, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc).
- Ability to communicate clearly and appropriately at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
- Climb ladders and stairs.
- Lift and carry 50 lbs.. for limited durations.
- Work schedule may vary and depend on hardware and testing.

- Remain flexible by working overtime and weekends (when necessary).
