Job Title: Principal Technical Program Manager - PCI Descoping

Position Description
- We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager for a 12-14 month contract to lead the PCI descoping project for our client.
- The project involves building secure, reusable components and their adoption and rollout across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running, as the project is already underway.
- The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of PCI DSS, as it applies to software development and system architecture.
- They will be well-versed in modern software development and understand system architecture so they can mitigate Client dependencies, mitigate risks, engage the right technical partners, and drive towards a solution.
Position Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Lead the PCI descoping project, ensuring the successful development and integration of secure, reusable components across various applications. Work closely with stakeholders, engineers, and product managers.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with stakeholders from different departments, including engineering, product, UI/UX, compliance, and security, to ensure alignment and smooth project execution.
- Implementation Planning: Develop and track implementation plans for each client, aligning requirements and obtaining signoffs. Proactively identify dependencies and risks.
- Rollout Management: Develop and execute a structured rollout plan, incorporating engineering best practices such as gradual ramp-up, quality safeguards, and observability. Monitor for errors and assess business impact.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Establish and maintain comprehensive dashboards to report on rollout progress. Track and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any risks and issues promptly
- Communication: Facilitate clear, consistent communication across stakeholders, ensuring
- alignment on goals, timelines, risk, and status throughout the program and its rollout. This includes regular updates to executives and teams, coordinating readiness and issue responses and maintaining structured documentation and feedback loops
- Compliance and Security: Ensure that all aspects of the project comply with PCI DSS
- requirements and other relevant security and compliance standards
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in technical program management
- In-depth understanding of PCI DSS, with proven experience leading similar security and
- compliance projects
- Proven experience in delivering complex company-wide projects with multiple stakeholders in an agile environment
- Proven track record of successfully leading complex technical projects from inception to completion. Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, systems thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to identify potential issues and drive effective solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and cultivate strong
