Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of optical or opto-mechanical assembly operations.
- Follow assembly procedures, test sequences, and data collection methods.
- Make setups and adjustments to maintain tight tolerances.
- Assemble lens products according to manufacturing documentation.
- Perform manual and/or automatic assembly, inspection, and testing.
- Verify kit completeness and accuracy.
- Assist in the creation, development, and revision of assembly documentation.
- Ensure the accuracy of finished assemblies.
- Collaborate with Test, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams.
- Process assemblies using various materials (adhesives, coatings, epoxies).
- Perform mechanical assembly using hand tools.
- High school education or equivalent.
- Some experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Ability to work from written instructions, process travelers, etc.
- Experience with opto-mechanical component assembly and related tooling.
- Familiarity with ISO policies and procedures.
- Clean room experience.
- Ability to work with small parts under a microscope for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity and mechanical assembly skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office applications.
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident Status.
