Program Cost/Schedule Control Analyst I -

Job Details Description
The Program Cost/Schedule Control Analyst sets up a cost control system, and
monitors and controls costs, and schedules on contracts requiring a validated cost
schedule control system. Performs analyses and prepares reports to ensure that
contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost
control guidelines. Prepares budgets and schedules for contract work and performs
and/or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and
variance analysis. Prepares program plans to ensure program requirements and
statements of work are captured and scheduled. Performs schedule risk assessments
to identify and mitigate program costs and scheduling risks. Ensures adequate
funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing the
preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional
funding to the government. Incorporates contractual changes into control systems by
staying aware of outstanding work against each contract to maintain realistic contract
costs and schedule baselines.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance AND 0 years of related experience
or an equivalent combination of education and years of experience.
Work history demonstrating the ability to work independently with minimal
supervision.
Ability to manipulate, analyze and distill large volumes of data.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong understanding of the interdependencies of financial accounts and cost
and revenue drivers.
Intermediate to advance user of MS Excel.
Intermediate user of MS PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
SAP experience in a manufacturing environment.
Relevant experience in a Job Cost Environment.
Accounting/Finance Experience in Aerospace & Defense Industry.
Must be able to work any shift, overtime, weekends, and flexible hours as
required.
Must adhere to Company policies/procedures and management instruction.
Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information and Company
Proprietary data.
Physical Requirements: Primarily manufacturing/assembly environment. Must be able
to work in the following environmental conditions: noise, vibration, proximity to
moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current. Must be able to bend
and reach. Must have close visual acuities such as viewing a computer terminal,
extensive reading, visual inspection involving minor defects, small parts, and/or
operation of machines, and/or assembly or fabrication parts at close distance to the
eyes. Must be able to communicate effectively. Must be able to maneuver up to 20
pounds. Will be performing substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands,
and/or fingers.
