Job Summary:
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Infrastructure and Network Automation Engineer to design, implement, and optimize cloud-based infrastructures and network systems.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in cloud platforms, infrastructure as code (IaC), and network automation.
- They will play a pivotal role in ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of our cloud infrastructure while driving automation and efficiency across the organization.
Cloud Infrastructure Management:
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Optimize cloud resources for performance, cost, and scalability.
- Implement best practices for cloud architecture and security.
- Develop and maintain automated network deployment and management systems using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or equivalent.
- Ensure seamless integration of network services with cloud and on-premises environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network performance and security issues.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Create and manage CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and network automation.
- Evaluate and implement automation tools and frameworks to enhance operational efficiency.
- Implement monitoring and alerting systems to ensure the reliability and availability of cloud and network infrastructure.
- Analyze performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Work closely with DevOps, engineering, and IT teams to support application deployments and infrastructure requirements.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of cloud and network architectures, configurations, and processes.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and internal policies.
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, networking, and automation.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Hands-on experience with network automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, etc.).
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, etc.).
- Expertise in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) for automation.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
