Job Description:
- You'll be joining the client's Strategic Initiatives team, where you'll work closely with others to support one Program Manager in managing one large-scale program that spans several lines of business and requires coordination with many different business stakeholders
- Senior Project Manager will lead working groups with the business to proactively identify anything that will take projects off schedule and collaborate on solutions to correct the problem, to monitor milestones and ensure they're completed according to timelines and budgets, to identify risks, issues and dependencies that may take the project off schedule and ultimately highlighting challenges to the Program Manager for further escalation; This will all be done in compliance with client's governance standards, and are completed in line with the team's budget and timeline
- Senior Project Manager will create drafts of weekly, monthly, and quarterly status reports for a variety of audiences, including board of directors and other executives.
- You will leverage your strong PowerPoint skills to deliver these reports.
Summary:
- The main function of a non-IT project manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research and development, financial systems, and product roll-out, etc, or any other non-IT-based project.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals, and directing the integration of technical activities.
- Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients.
- Recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
- Analyze technology, resource needs, and market demand to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
- Confer with management, production, and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.
- Review and recommend or approve contracts and cost estimates.
- Direct, review, and approve product designs and changes.
- Consult or negotiate with clients to prepare project specifications.

- Strong knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, etc.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
- PMI or PMP certification preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience required.

- Previous experience working on regulatory-based projects
- Capital markets experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Project Manager
- Proficient with the Microsoft suite, Excel & PowerPoint
- Executive-level presentation skills
- Proven track record managing stakeholders and expectations
- Working experience leveraging Planview
- Strong people management skills
