Job Description:
Are you a cybersecurity expert passionate about protecting critical infrastructure? We're seeking a dedicated Statewide Cybersecurity Coordinator to enhance cybersecurity coordination and outreach across local governments in Maine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Education and Outreach: Develop and deliver educational materials, workshops, and programs to increase cybersecurity awareness and readiness among local governments.
- Coordination: Coordinate statewide cybersecurity efforts, ensuring alignment and collaboration among stakeholders.
- Advocacy: Promote the adoption of cybersecurity best practices and leverage resources like the SLCGP.
- Gap Analysis: Identify cybersecurity resource gaps in local governments and propose strategic improvements.
- Strategic Planning: Lead strategic planning and foster collaborative relationships with federal partners, state agencies, local governments, and community groups.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in strategic planning, project management, or cybersecurity-focused initiatives.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Certifications: Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) are preferred.
- Federal Programs: Experience with federal programs related to cybersecurity is beneficial.
