Job Title : Business Analyst / Reporting Analyst
Contract Duration : 6 months (Extension possible)
Pay range : $54 - 55 / hr
Location : Mount Laurel, NJ
Work Type : Remote (EST Only), Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm
Summary of day-to-day Responsibilities :
Day-to-day will be dictated by the business needs, but the Business Analyst is expected to be a subject matter expert, who acts as the main point of contact to connect with stakeholders to gather data and build dashboards that capture business trends. Incumbent will then present AML-driven insights in a digestible manner to program executives.
Scope of work includes (but is not limited to) :
- Creating reporting dashboards on AML audit remediation efforts
- Translating raw data from Excel to digestible PowerPoint graphs
- Presenting data to key business executives
Other accountabilities include :
Representing the business in all meetings and activities.Conducting sessions with business line leaders and tracking activities.Reviewing Process Standards and determining gaps for remediation.Required Education / Experience :
Degree / Certifications Required : PMP certification preferred; otherwise university level education (any discipline)Years of experience : 6-8 years of overall experience in ReportingMust Haves :
6-8 years of experience with AML metrics reportingPrevious banking or financial institution experienceExperience with Tableau, PowerBI, Visio, and Advance Excel (vlookups, pivot tables)Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills (both written & verbal)Extensive knowledge of computer software such as MS Office Suite, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, etc.Nice to Have :
PMP designationExperience with JiraSalesforce or nCINO knowledge / experienceDISQUALIFIERS - is there any information / experience on a candidate's resume that would disqualify them from consideration for this position?
Short-term contracts (less than 6 months) - demonstrable commitment & stability is an assetNote :
Senior analyst that understands or has experience with AML Reporting & Analytics.Experience from Clients on how to create reports and present data would be an asset, along with Change Management experience.Technical experience is not required but an understanding of bank systems / platforms is preferred (nCINO, Salesforce).The ideal candidate should be a team player who is able to facilitate ambiguous work and solve complex problems while taking ownership of all tasks.Innovation is highly valued, as well as good storytelling skills.Other key qualifications also include :Strong reporting background
