Job Title : EHS Specialist
Contract Duration : 6 Months
Pay range : $35 - 38 / hr
Location : Norwood, OH
Work Type : Onsite, 1st shift - 6am / 9am start time range.
Job Description :
- EHS Specialist collaborates with site management and employees on key initiatives to meet compliance with corporate environmental, health, and safety standards.
- Collaborating with site management and employees with Risk Assessments and ensuring needed Risk Assessments are completed including HazOp, PHA, and OPHR activities.
- Collaborating with site management and employees on key initiatives to meet ISO14001 and ISO45001 environmental, health, and safety standards.
- Knowledge of Industrial Hygiene principles
- Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills. Self-directed with strong background in developing SOP's. Strong negotiation skills a plus.
- Interacting routinely with site management, supervision, and personnel on EHS-related matters.
- EHS Specialist works on special projects to address gaps in EHS programs.
