Job Title: RN- Emergency Room Nurse

Location: Wrangell/ Sitka, AK

Duration: 8 - 26 weeks contract

Shift: Days/ Nights - 12 hours shifts

Guaranteed Hours: 36hrs per week

Travel gross pay: $3000 - $3500/week

Job Summary:The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department provides high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients experiencing a wide variety of acute and critical conditions. They ensure timely and effective responses to emergency medical needs while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Education & Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, BSN preferred).
• Current, active RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications required.
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) and TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) preferred.

Experience

• Previous experience in emergency or critical care nursing preferred.
• Strong clinical skills, including IV insertion, wound care, and hemodynamic monitoring.
