Job Description :
Are you a detail-oriented and reliable individual with a passion for laboratory work? We're seeking a talented Laboratory Assistant to join our team. As a Laboratory Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our laboratory operations and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our diagnostic services.
Responsibilities :
- Perform various routine laboratory functions, including specimen handling, instrument maintenance, data recording, reagent preparation, and specimen preparation.
- Perform QA / QC duties as assigned.
- Resolve pending lists and find missing samples.
- Decontaminate work areas and perform weekly radioactive wipe tests.
- Maintain files for department records.
- Change gas cylinders.
- Follow all PPE requirements and safety regulations.
- Use the laboratory computer system and operate PCs.
- Dispose of biohazardous material.
- Complete training and competency checklists as appropriate.
