Construction Coordinator

Location : Princeton, IN; 100% on-site

Travel : 25% (Domestic only)

Overtime : 25%-50%

Summary :

We are seeking a Construction Coordinator to support ongoing Construction Projects. This role involves implementing building construction projects, coordinating construction scheduling and communication, and acting as a liaison between in-field construction and project management.

Responsibilities :

• Responsible for equipment installation and modification projects from scope creation to contract completion.
• This includes initial contract negotiations with installation contractors and also negotiations for any field orders as they arise through the course of the contract.
• Typical Projects can include installation of the following types of equipment - Robot / Jig Machines Cells, Transfer systems and conveyors, cooling water, exhaust systems, HVAC, lighting, sealer systems, utility distribution, hoists systems
• In addition, this may include creating machine specs and managing overall project work including -machine vendor and contractors for process equipment like transfer systems, conveyors, overhead rail systems, AGV's
• Responsible for managing general contractors and subcontractors, inspection and testing agencies, budgets and schedules.
• Coordinates the activities of all organizations to achieve project success. Includes general contractors, subcontractors, trucking and shipping companies, inspection and testing agencies, machine vendors, process engineers, and management.
• Administer construction contracts, conduct onsite inspection to monitor plan compliance.
• Direct activities of contractors and subcontractors to support project schedule in compliance with plans and specifications.
• Reports project status to management including safety compliance, schedule status, budget updates and standards compliance.
• Report on reflections of each project upon completion.

Requirements :

• 3-5 years of experience in industrial or commercial construction projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of construction means and methods.
• Proficient drawing review and field application abilities.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Ability to properly manage a construction schedule on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Ability to stand, stoop, and walk throughout a large industrial manufacturing plant for many hours of the day.
• Ability to ascend & descend stairs to roof or equipment rooms throughout a large industrial manufacturing plant.
• Competent with Microsoft Office : Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.
• Knowledge of general building construction methods.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Associate's degree in construction management.

REFERRAL BONUS PROGRAM :

If you are able to refer a person we do hire, we can offer up to $250 for contractors after they are on the job for 90 days and up to $500 for direct hires after they are on the job between 90 days to 180 days , depending on customer payment terms.
