Our client is looking for an experienced Contracts Admin on a full-time opportunity in Atlanta, GA.
Contracts Admin will be responsible for preparing, examining, managing, analyzing, negotiating and revising all types of contracts used throughout the company. Serves as the primary liaison between legal team and the business teams requiring a transaction to be memorialized in a contract.
Required skills, experience & qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field preferred.
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school preferred.
- A bachelor's degree plus 7 years of experience as a contract administrator in a top law firm, corporation, or government agency.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PDF, e-signature tools (DocuSign), and CLM (Ironclad), considered a strong plus.
- Previous in-house experience preferred.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:
- Accurately create, modify, and negotiate contractual agreements between third parties and internal teams, maintaining alignment with departmental and corporate objectives.
- Identify and advise internal teams of potential risks in contracts and propose strategies to minimize or eliminate them.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to resolve any potential issues related to contracts.
- Review third party agreements and compare against the company’s form contracts in order to identify major issues and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws and regulations.
- Oversee contract modifications and amendments.
- Develop or recommend updates for the company’s contract templates, whether based on best practices or changes in laws or regulations.
- Manage contracts within the company’s contract management lifecycle (CLM) system and save documents in accordance with legal department processes.
- Prepare and disseminate reports to appropriate management and employees regarding contract volume/status and facilitate contract meetings as needed.
- Management or participation in special projects and department or company initiatives.
- Assist with the interpretation of contract terms, conditions and requirements.
