Supply Chain Director

The Sr. Director of Integrated Supply Chain will be responsible for leading all supply chain activities. They will have full responsibilities for both MRO and OEM supply chain. This role will lead the contract reviews for all suppliers and be directly involved in the negotiation of all purchasing contracts and will be responsible for tracking and reporting on all Purchase Orders related to Supply Chain activities which will include but is not limited to outside processing, Repair Orders, purchased parts, etc.

It is expected that this position will be actively engaged in the following:

PRINCIPLE ACTIVITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

• Management of parts demand for an aircraft MRO business insuring zero shortages on 100% kit parts

• Analyze supply gaps and identify action plans to remedy

• Responsible for supplier selection and ongoing performance review.

• Will own all supply chain activity for MRO and OEM.

• Lead negotiation efforts on major contracts.

• Establish annual goals and objectives to align with corporate goals and business needs.

• Create and manage supplier performance data.

• Report on Inventory and Historical parts usage and coordinate with OEM on future demand forecast.

• Manage rotable pool of finished and repairable assets.

• Manage part shortage contingencies with OEM supply chain for sourcing of materials

• Complete Inventory and Operational analysis for active and future projects as required

• Conduct overall inventory valuations, specifically around cores and exchanges to ensure proper market costing

• Responsible for ensuring all staff is adequately trained.

• Responsible for overseeing all facets of the integrated supply chain.

KEY OBJECTIVES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Track supplier timeliness.

• Ensure Ozark friendly contracts are in place for all key suppliers

• Responsible for cost saving activities from the supply base.

• Review and develop plans to utilize repairable inventory in lieu of purchase to draw down inventory levels and maximize use of existing inventory

• Drive MRO procurement to ensure proper and effective procurement replenishment methodologies are in place and working

• Oversee and report on Supply Chain and Inventory Metrics and KPIs

• Facilitate coordination with OEM supply chain, MRO logistics and Project Managers to monitor health and develop plans to remedy risk areas

• Prepare and brief leadership and key stakeholders on inventory performance, gaps, actions and needs.

• Responsible for ensuring accuracy of fine details concerning data input into the ERP system

• Liaison with OEM supply chain for parts procurement and overall MRO demands

• Make recommendations on policies and procedures to support continuous improvement.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Education:

o Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or any other Degree in a related field or equivalent experience may be used to in lieu of

o Masters Degree in Business Admin, SCM or other is preferred

o APICS or similar certification preferred

• Experience:

o 5 or more years' experience in a complex supply chain organization

o 5 plus years managing people

o Quantum Aviation Solutions Software or other Aviation ERPs preferred

o Strong analytical skills, applicable to both supply chain activities and process improvement

o Proficient in Microsoft suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc)
