Description
About the Position: The Warehouse & Production Associate, is responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, processing, storing, and sending inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules. Their duties include loading orders onto trucks and shipping containers, organizing incoming stock, and putting the appropriate labels on outgoing parcels. Duties will also include assisting production associates in chemical product handling, transfers, and batch making.
Summary Of Duties:
The Warehouse & Production Associate will occasionally be expected to be available outside of standard business hours to support the warehouse and production needs of the company’s clients.
Physical Requirements: This position can be physically demanding. This includes the requirement to stand for extended periods of time and lift heavy objects on a regular basis. The Warehouse & Production Associate is required to move around a production and warehouse environment. The Warehouse & Production Associate will need to be able to carry products (e.g. chemical pails, softener salt, raw materials) of up to 50 to 80 lbs.

- Shipping and receiving responsibilities
- Using forklift to load and unload trucks as well as move products around the warehouse as instructed
- Preparing orders for shipment / picking and palletizing customer orders
- Basic inventory management such as checking raw material and finished good inventory quantities and reporting to manager
- Housekeeping and cleanliness duties / responsible for maintaining clean & organized environment
- Stage orders for next day of deliveries
- Chemical handling such as chemical transfers and batch making

Qualifications:
- This is an entry to intermediate level position. Relevant industry experience will be considered.
- Forklift training and experience is preferred but not required. (Certification & Training Provided)
- High school graduation or GED required; preference will be given to a candidate with college experience.
- Cross functionality is a necessary part of this position.

- Attention to detail and cleanliness are a must.
- The successful candidate for this position must pass a drug screening and background check.
- Must be able to communicate in English and ability to read proficiently in English.
