About Us
Global Wildlife Center is one of the largest free-roaming wildlife preserves in the country and is dedicated to conserving wildlife and natural habitats. Our mission is to protect endangered wildlife and their habitats through science, local partnerships, and advocacy. We are located in Folsom, Louisiana and are home to thousands of exotic, endangered, and threatened animals from all over the world.

Reports to: Administrative Manager
Job Responsibilities:
· Collaborative Marketing: Work with contracted marketing agency to build a content calendar and execute effective and comprehensive campaigns across all media channels to drive bookings and visits to Global Wildlife Center.
· Content Creation: Develop engaging, on-brand content for various social media platforms (including graphics, photos, videos, and copywriting) and for newsletter, website and other media outlets. Ensure content is aligned with Global Wildlife Center’s mission and objectives.
· Community Engagement: Build and maintain a vibrant online community by interacting with followers, responding to comments and messages, and fostering a sense of connection.
· Campaign Support: Assist in executing digital marketing and communications plans. Develop creative strategies to increase conversions and user engagement.
· Analytics and Reporting: Monitor social media trends, track performance metrics, and provide regular reports to assess the effectiveness of campaigns. Make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
· Content Library Management: Maintain an organized shared content library in coordination with administration and staff. Ensure accessibility and easy retrieval of assets.
· Process Improvement: Proactively recommend and implement improvements to social media management processes, including content planning, creation, and testing. Stay abreast of trends and algorithms and ever-evolving best social media practices.
Qualifications:
· Experience with photography, video production, editing, and digital design software. Must have a creative eye.
· Passion for marketing and social media, with a desire to utilize your skills to promote a company’s mission.
· Foundational understanding of social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to draft compelling promotional copy with a strong call to action. Proper grammar is a must.
· Creative mindset with a knack for generating engaging content and a proven history of doing so.
· Willingness to learn how to make content more visible and attractive online.
· Familiarity with social media management tools and analytics platforms.
· Enthusiasm for growing social media followership and engagement.
