Position Summary :
- Partners with Sales Managers on outgoing bids
- Ensure customer satisfaction through sales service
- Partners with Operations in sales, negotiations, and project delivery
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
Partners with sales managers and legal team for contract negotiationsAssists with implementation of sales goals set by Sales Director and Sales ManagersAssists with preparation of quotationsAnalyze commercial contractsHandling administrative duties of the quotation and negotiation processContributes to the internal structure and sales process to ensure customer-focus and a proactive sales effort and approachUnderstanding commercial conditions and consequences of contractsParticipates in internal coordination, handover, and partnership with Operations from project negotiation through project conclusionMaintain positive customer relationsDevelops effective means of communication with associates at all levels across the business to build a relationship of trust and respectSpecial projects as assignedFlexibility to travel up to 20%Flexibility to work overtime hours on weekly basisAll other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge and Abilities :
Pass a pre-employment background check and drug testB.S. degree in business or related field highly preferredAt least three years of progressive sales work experienceAt least one year of construction or wind industry experience preferredResults focus to set goals, deliver results consistently, take action to achieve targets, and overcome obstaclesKnowledge of operations management to understand how this integrates into overall business and financial planningMust have the ability to establish credibility and trust in relationships with customers, team members and clientsStrong PC skills, with proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel & ProjectExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of internal and external personnel.Detail oriented, with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Strong organizational and research skills.Able to effectively work in a fast-paced environment and display a sense of urgency.Strong customer service skills.Function with little supervision. Must be able to work independently.Must be able to move around the office up to 20% of the time to make copies, fax, file, etc.This position operates computers and other office productivity machines (e.g., fax machine, copier, printer, etc.) on a regular basis.
