Position Summary :
- Executes the sales strategy for assigned key accounts
- Manages contract negotiations for assigned line of business
- Manage end to end RfP / Q process, and generate commercial calculations and quotations
- Partners with Operations in sales, negotiations, and project delivery
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
Provides guidance to finance and accounting team for project costPartners with legal team for contract negotiationsDevelops sales goals and strategies that ensure alignment with short-term and long-term objectives developed in tandem with the Business Development Director and Area ManagerManages and develops your customer portfolio and secures strong relationships and long-term partnershipsDrives large tender processesContributes to the internal structure and sales process to ensure customer-focus and a proactive sales effort and approachNegotiates contracts, including understanding commercial conditions and consequencesEnsures internal coordination, handover, and partnership with Operations from project negotiation through project conclusionDevelops effective means of communication with associates at all levels across the business to build a relationship of trust and respectSpecial projects as assignedFlexibility to travel up to 30%-40%, some international travel requiredAll other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge and Abilities :
Pass a pre-employment background check and drug testValid driver license and acceptable MVR recordValid US passport or ability to obtain one for international travelB.S. degree in Engineering or Business Management or related field highly preferredAt least three years of progressive sales management work experienceAt least three years of wind industry experienceStrong market knowledge and ability order to drive the growth of the market shareResults orientated, deliver results consistently, take action to achieve targets, and overcome obstaclesProven ability to initiate, develop and grow superior and sustainable vendor and customer relationships, plus the ability to collaborate with and influence othersMust have the ability to establish credibility and trust in relationships with customers, team members and clientsStrong PC skills, with proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel & ProjectExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of internal and external personnel.Detail oriented, with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Strong organizational skills and research skills.Able to effectively work in a fast-paced environment and display a sense of urgency.Strong customer service skills.Function with little supervision. Must be able to work independently.Must be able to move around the office up to 20% of the time to make copies, fax, file, etc.This position operates computers and other office productivity machines (e.g., fax machine, copier, printer, etc.) on a regular basis. This position must be able to inspect andobserve information on a computer screen at least 80% of the time.
