Our Client is hiring a full-time Senior Network Administrator to join our on-site team in Arlington, VA. In this vital swing-shift role, you'll play a key part in designing, maintaining, and enhancing secure communication networks. YOUR DAY-TO-DAY
This full-time role follows a Monday - Thursday, 8 : 00 PM - 6 : 00 AM schedule, offering consistent 10-hour swing shifts and three-day weekends.
As our Senior Network Administrator, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and performance of our communications networks. Your days will be spent designing, configuring, and managing complex LAN / WAN systems while monitoring networking performance using industry-leading tools. You'll troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges, mentor less-experienced engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and implement enhancements. Your expertise will keep our systems secure and efficient, ensuring seamless communication and operational success. Whether it's evaluating new technologies or coordinating hardware acquisitions, your contributions will directly impact our mission.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS
- Active Top Secret / SCI security clearance
- IAT Level II certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M
- Networking certification in Brocade, Cisco (CCNA / CCNP), Juniper (JNCIA / JNCIS / JNCIP), OR Aruba
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree
- 5 years of experience in network administration
- Experience with Aruba networking systems
- Ability to work on-site with a swing-shift schedule : Monday - Thursday, 8 : 00 PM - 6 : 00 AM
Having an Aruba certification (ACSA and / or ACSP) is highly desirable but not required to become our Senior Network Administrator.
