YOUR ROLE
As our Senior Network Engineer, you'll be the backbone of our communications network, ensuring its integrity, performance, and compliance. In this on-site, full-time network administration role, your responsibilities will include :
- Design & Implementation : Architect and configure routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN concentrators for LAN / WAN systems.
- Monitoring & Maintenance : Leverage industry-leading tools to monitor communication networks and perform upgrades on servers, routers, switches, and remote access systems.
- Innovative Solutions : Develop and implement technical solutions to complex network challenges, enhancing system capabilities.
- System Integrity : Ensure network reliability, connectivity, and robust backup and recovery capabilities.
- Leadership : Mentor junior networking personnel, fostering skill development and technical acumen.
- Continuous Improvement : Evaluate emerging technologies to enhance network performance and security.
- Active Top Secret / SCI security clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree
- 5 years of experience in network administration
- Experience with Aruba networking systems
- IAT Level II certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M
- Networking certification in Brocade, Cisco (CCNA / CCNP), Juniper (JNCIA / JNCIS / JNCIP), OR Aruba
- Ability to work a swing shift schedule : Monday - Thursday, 8 : 00 PM - 6 : 00 AM
- Willingness to work full-time onsite
- Aruba certification (ACSA and / or ACSP, depending on role) is preferred
