Overview
One of our clients is seeking an experienced Hydraulic Design Engineer to join our Raleigh, NC office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop hydraulic systems for transportation projects.
- Perform hydrology and hydraulic analysis, stormwater management, and erosion control design.
- Plan and design roadway drainage systems, culverts, and bridge hydraulics.
- Utilize MicroStation, GEOPAK Drainage, and HEC-RAS for data extraction and modeling.
- Conduct site visits to verify existing conditions.
- 5 years of hydraulic design experience, preferably with NCDOT projects.
- Proficiency in MicroStation, GEOPAK Drainage, HEC-RAS, and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of NCDOT Guidelines, FHWA Hydraulic Design Manual, and stormwater BMPs.
- PE license preferred; NCDOT Level III Certification is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Experience with Open Roads Designer and SUDA is a plus.
