We are seeking a Corporate Tax Auditor for our client’s firm. Responsibilities:
- Review corporate tax returns to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Analyze financial statements and supporting documents to identify discrepancies or errors.
- Verify business deductions, credits, and expenses.
- Communicate audit findings and discrepancies to clients, providing recommendations for corrective actions.
- Investigate complex tax issues, including international taxation and mergers.
- Assess internal controls and recommend improvements for improved tax reporting accuracy.
- Stay updated on changes to tax laws and evolve audit procedures accordingly.
Qualifications:
- 4 years experience in corporate tax law.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification or progress toward obtaining one.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate tax laws, including federal, state, and international tax regulations.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in tax software (i.e. ProSystem fx, CCH).
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and explaining audit findings.
