Job Summary :
The Senior Financial Analyst will provide in-depth financial analysis, support strategic decision-making, analyze the financial performance of our hardware assembly / software development operations and look for opportunities to improve financial business processes. The position will be responsible for cost and margin analysis, focusing on inventory valuation, the bill of materials (BOM), production costs as well as the costs associated with our software development lifecycle. Additionally, the Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for developing budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to support the needs of senior management and the business. In this position you will work closely with sales, operations, supply chain, and accounting teams to ensure accurate reporting and forecasting. Experience with NetSuite ERP and cost accounting principles is highly preferred.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Conduct detailed cost and margin analysis on assembled hardware, factoring in the bill of materials (BOM) and inventory costs.
- Analyze software development costs and the costs associated with the delivery of the software products to market.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Utilize NetSuite ERP to extract, analyze, and report financial data, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Partner with operations, supply chain, and accounting teams to optimize inventory valuation and cost accounting.
- Partner with sales and the accounting team to calculate and report monthly commissions.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial performance and efficiency in pricing, procurement, and cost control.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management.
- Assist in financial planning & analysis (FP&A) initiatives to drive data-driven decision-making.
- Devise ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support the company’s needs / requirements.
