Job Description
- Lead development, maintenance, and support for the Maven electronic disease surveillance system
- Lead public health informatics planning for projects
- Work with the Rhapsody analyst to support interfaces, such as electronic lab reports, syndromic surveillance messages, and electronic case reports
- Monitor and resolve technical issues
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or
- related field or Master’s degree in Public Health.
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools
- Experience with SQL, Python, JavaScript, or other scripting languages
- Knowledge of coding standards, such as HL7, LOINC, SNOMED, ICD-10, CPT, and other clinical or message coding
- Two years experience working in a public health setting
