Job Summary:
The SAP Record to Report (RTR) Lead will drive program success in the record-to-report area through end-to-end deployment and build-to-run transition of SAP S/4HANA. You will work with other process area leads, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure high-quality solution deployment and ongoing stability. This role requires a strong functional expert with technical skills, emphasizing analytical abilities to stabilize the finance landscape. Cross-functional collaboration and strong communication are critical to success.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the RTR (Record to Report) workstream for the global SAP S/4HANA deployment, including but not limited to general ledger, accounts receivable and payable, and asset accounting.
- Perform overall data quality and cleansing activities to support implementations and long-term maintenance.
- Interface and lead a team of onshore and offshore SAP business analysts and solution architects focused on financial processes.
- Develop a deep understanding of business processes and strategy through collaboration with key stakeholders; translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
- Communicate with key stakeholders regularly to manage expectations and provide project updates on scope and schedules; ensure timely escalation and mitigation of issues and risks.
- Support execution of a comprehensive deployment plan, including work planning, scheduling, metrics, training, change management, and go-lives in the RTR area.
- Willingness to learn related applications and integration technologies that contribute to end-to-end process integration with SAP.
- Gather and document system and process requirements through meetings, workshops, site visits, and job shadowing; create and maintain documentation on SAP RTR business processes.
- Perform business process mapping using standard methodologies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of developments in SAP RTR processes and related areas to recommend innovations for process improvement.
- Provide day-to-day support of users in the RTR space after hypercare wraps up.
Experience & Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in SAP Finance with a focus on Record to Report (RTR) processes, including SAP S/4HANA implementations.
- Proven experience leading SAP RTR deployments, preferably in global enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of financial processes, including general ledger, financial close, intercompany accounting, fixed assets, and reporting.
- Hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance modules, with an ability to configure and optimize solutions.
- Excellent analytical skills to assess financial system stability, identify risks, and implement process improvements.
- Cross-functional experience collaborating with IT, finance, and operational teams to align SAP functionality with business goals.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to translate complex technical topics into business-friendly language.
- Experience managing onshore and offshore teams, including business analysts and solution architects.
- Knowledge of data governance, financial compliance requirements, and audit controls.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field; an MBA or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, SAP certification) is a plus.

Salary : $150,000 - $170,000
